Evgeniy Tomov
By education - an engineer, by self-awareness - an artist. I was born and raised in cold Siberia in Russia, Bulgarian by origin. Furniture for me is not only functional, but also emotion. Each item is a balance between industrial design and art object, between industrial production and handcrafted.
I came to the world of object design through the virtual one: I was previously engaged in computer graphics, worked in television and in a marketing agency. The desire to bring my creativity into real form led me to the world of industrial design in 2015.
I have publications of my works in interior media, such as: magazines AD, Interni, Interior + Design, portals Houzz, Design Mate, online magazines IN/EX, INTERIORs the best and others.
I am a participant in Milan Design Week 2018,DESIGN.VE 2018 festival in Venice and Maison & Objet Digital Fair 2020 and various exhibitions in Russia.
