Linux Developer

CST LTD is a privately held Bulgarian IT company with expertise in the areas of telecommunication, voice and mobile services. The company offers consulting services for the German and Swiss IT market and works with large telecommunication providers developing next generation communication solutions. 


We are looking for a motivated Linux Developer to join our team.


The qualified candidate will have a solid understanding of Linux environment. You will be responsible for building applications that meet the business requirements, satisfy design aspects, and has reuse value for development. The candidate must also have experience in several programming languages like C/C++, Java, Python, or similar.


The perfect candidate for us:


- has at least 5 years of experience in a software industry

- has excellent understanding of Linux architecture and system tools

- has very good programming experience with Java, C/C++, scripting languages

- has very good knowledge in computer networking (TCP/IP)

- has excellent analytical and problem solving skills

- is a good team player (cooperative and responsible)

- has excellent communication skills and good knowledge of English (written and verbal)

- is self-organised and responsible person (working alone and/or in team)


Advantages:


- experience with administration of Linux services 

- experience working with networking tools like Wireshark and tcpdump and traffic/protocol analysis

- experience with Cloud infrastructure (Amazon EC2, Windows Azure, others)

- very good understanding of OOP principles, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, etc.

- good understanding of good software practises
