Role: Content Partnership Manager

Context

Imagine that you joined the Netgem UK team 3 months ago, and you’re now in charge of Content Partnerships. Besides managing Content Partners and Content revenue, one of your objectives is to provide our ISP clients with assets they can use across acquisition campaigns (e.g. social posts, website updates) as well as towards their existing TV customer base (e.g. TV notification).

One of our ISP partners - we will use Community Fibre for this exercise - reports observing a drop in acquisition and churn is growing. They start to question the product, so you decide to reassure them now and help them set up a retention strategy as well as an acquisition campaign to boost their sales and reverse the trend.

You know that time is of the essence in this type of situation, as the client is starting to escalate the situation, so waiting for content partners to send you new assets is not an option. You are therefore going to use pre-validated assets, also called “evergreen”.

Exercise

For this exercise, we will assume that our partner FIFA can provide you with images from this section of their TV app: https://www.fifa.com/fifaplus/en/originals
We also just launched the DAZN app and 10 new channels from Sports Tribal - for this exercise, we’ll assume that the assets you can find on their websites have already been approved for your campaigns.

You talk about your plan to your manager and agree to present your propositions and a plan to the client in 2 days.

Please revert in 2 days with a presentation of your plan and proposition, including:

1. A home page analysis of current Community Fibre website, with suggestions to boost TV “attach” to Broadband sales.

2. A TV box full-screen notification to use for retention (template available here, feel free to use the Figma space).

3. Aside from this, explain what is your take on the forces & weaknesses of Netgem’s proposition in the UK market?
