Data Analytics Contractor

Searching for a Data Analytics Consultant familiar with Microsoft SQL Server and the Azure stack for a 3 month engagement. Must have the essential skills listed below.

Essential

Good spoken and written English

SQL Server Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse Development.

SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) / ETL Development.

Strong Experience with Data Warehouse (Kimball Methodology) design concepts and practices.

An understanding of agile development practices, ideally having worked successfully with agile delivery teams.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communications skills.

Nice to Have

Enterprise Business Intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy and Power BI.

Exposure to a programming/scripting language.

Database unit-test and integration test experience with automated testing frameworks such as tSQLt, DBFit.

Exposure to the Microsoft Azure Data platform especially: Azure Data Factory (ADF); Azure Functions; SQL Database; Azure Cosmos DB; Azure Storage; Service Bus; Azure Data Warehouse (SQLDW); Event Hubs.

Broad knowledge of the design and implementation of applications’ build, release, deployment, and configuration activities

Continuous Integration tools such as Azure DevOps build pipelines, TeamCity, Jenkins
