We are building the real estate platform of the future. We are seeking a talented software engineer to help us take the next leap forward.

Your role will cover all stages of the development of our web platform: from architecture, through coding, integration with our backend APIs and data structures, and final testing. The ideal candidate will have experience with building consumer facing (B2C) web platforms at scale.

We are looking for a product-aware engineer who is a thoughtful, responsible and passionate builder with a deep appreciation for user experience. We're looking for someone who is not only well versed in web development and backend code, but also has a strong commitment to good UX and incorporating complex technology in simple interactions. We expect the candidate to grow into a leadership role as we scale.

About you
* Front-end: CSS, HTML5, Javascript. We currently use Vue, but our architecture is fairly modular so an equivalent framework (React, Angular) is also perfectly fine
* Back-end: we use Node.js and Python, but are fairly language agnostic (with a preference towards higher level, e.g. Ruby, Java, PHP); in backend use whatever you like as long as you can package the service and serve over a well-performing API. We use requests extensively (most of our existing backend is served over API)
* Devops: we work on Ubuntu, the nature of our platform means we need to focus on security. We need someone to take ownership of user and business data, who understands the basics of web security (HTTPS, CORS), knows how to set up a web server (nginx currently), a firewall, and how to build a safe system from the ground up - starting with the architecture
* We expect the project to involve a lot of custom work, so expect you to have a strong understanding of the fundamentals - a CS degree is a major advantage.

We use Git / bitbucket.

Our platform is fairly specific, so experience with any of the following will be considered as advantages:
* UAM and authentication
* Mapping - we use the Google Maps JS API atm, but we’d appreciate any comparable experience - e.g. Mapbox JS, Leaflet JS, Here Maps JS 
Cloud - building and interfacing with secure, scalable (ideally on demand) back-end services in the cloud (we are currently on DO + Heroku, but we’d appreciate comparable experience - AWS, Google
* Cloud, etc.). We currently use Docker, so some experience with orchestration (we are eyeing Kubernetes) and scaling ideal. We schedule w/h Jenkins.
* Payments - implementing the entire infrastructure around a payment provider integration - especially around data security.

We offer competitive compensation, 4-6k BGN net depending on experience, flexible working hours, remote work, no politics, and the chance to work on an exceptional product with unique challenges.
